This May Pelican House and Volga Linen are delighted to present the Folkloric Floral Kilim, a handwoven artwork created in partnership with skilled weavers in Turkey, and inspired by Volga's Folkloric Floral print. 

The project brings together two brands connected by a shared appreciation for heritage, authenticity, and thoughtful, enduring design. Both brands prioritise fair-trade work with artisanal partners. For this project, Pelican House worked with a fair-trade weaving centre in Turkey that employs 24 weavers. Volga continues to work with family-run businesses in England and across Eastern Europe that promote heritage-rich techniques in linen production.
